We were quick on our feet to get on board with our pal Tom over at Wilkie Wines to bring you lovely people the ultimate gluggable chilled red. Prepare to be pleasantly greeted by a good mix of dark fruits alongside those classic red fruits we all love. Think Plums and spice with raspberry and cherry… DELISH. A lil bit about the winemaking… Long, slow, cool ferment. Extended maceration; on skins for 17 days. Handled delicately with gentle punch-downs & pump-overs. Lightly pressed. Aged in neutral French oak for 6 months. Batonnaged. Racked and returned. Racked again. Bottled. We’re working with quite a versatile wine here with enough body to hold up during those cooler months, but still maintaining a pop of brightness for the summer sippin’. Expect a well rounded, easy drinking drop to pop open and people please. Light and playful - chill this winner before you hit the park or decant to impress. - Grapeful
