"This is our take on the traditional German Helles lager, with “Helles” meaning bright or light in colour.

The play on words pays a cheeky nod to a hidden and treacherous local swimming spot in the nearby hills, yet another natural wonder in their neck of the woods.

The use of light pilsner malts fermented for an extended time produces a clean lager with a soft finish which is carried through by a robust bitterness.

Traditional German hops provide subtle notes of spice, and finishing at 4.5% in alcohol, the well-balanced Helles Hole has pleased all the lager enthusiasts out there."
